As the end of this year is getting closer we are summing up all of it.
With the birth of our little baby, Szaffi, and her amazing development we are getting near to the end of our most exciting and also most tiring year ever. It wasn't the only aspect of our life though, there were numerous challenges and unforgettable moments at work as well. We have still a couple of sessions to show you, the following one has a special place in our heart. We know Ola by sight for long, but I wasn't sure about this on that lazy afternoon, when we set out for a walk with Szaffi. Our little lady was fast asleep so we had time to talk about the important matters in life, when a Mama with her two children came across. They were a real phenomena and I left my eye on them involuntarily. Their style, their aura... It took only a second and I had this feeling under my skin that wow, I really wish we could photograph them. A second slips away quickly, we have passed by but I was still staring at them, and that Mama smiled back at me. I felt ashamed as it's not very polite to stare at someone but Gabor left me no time to think about it as he was poking me, saying: hey Szandra, we know them! Oh, if only it was true...! But where do we know them from? Gabor was already running after them and it turned out that on an easy Sunday morning carboot sale we bought some clothes for Szaffi from this family. Well, that's how much I can rely on my memory when it comes to faces. So Gabor took the lead and we were laughing together at the corner of the street. A couple of weeks had to pass before we had the chance to have a session with them but it was worth the wait. We had only a short hour to take the pictures and every minute of it was inspiring for us. Ola's aura, the honesty of the kids, their raw energy and untameable curiosity swept us off our feet. Ola was apologising for the children running around everywhere and we could not be happier to get so many spontaneous moments. We are really grateful for letting us do this session and we truly hope that next year will bring us some more wonderful afternoons together. With love, Szandra

Welcome Baby - Oscar          Bournemouth (Dorset)9/11/2016 As photographers, we can be present in lots of situations carefully planned, beautifully set up. Details of these can fascinate and inspire us and they give an opportunity to capture wonderful, stylish pictures. However, there is a field of life that is all about raw energy, instincts and naked feelings. This is the miracle of giving life and being born. As a doula I know the course of birth from very close, all the physical and emotional changes that come with it. And as a photographer, I believe there is no other event in life that is more honest, more unrepeatable than the arrival of a new baby. Our Welcome Baby package is made exactly for capturing these precious moments. Oscar was only 1,5-days-"old" when we visited them in their own home. Ditke, Jim, Zacky: Congratulations for little Oscar, and it was a great pleasure for us to see you in this sensitive and wonderful period in your family-life! We wish you all the best and hope to see you soon, Szandra, Gabor and Szaffi AuthorKids in Light Photography, 2016 The good thing in being a photographer couple is that when we spend the weekend with our friends, we can take photos to relax, and when we work we take photos for an other reason :)
We know Ivett and Kornel from the time when they were expecting their daughter. When we first met in person, it was their maternity photoshoot with us. Then, we were there when Lili was born. We have spent many afternoons and weekends together since then. Sometimes we take pictures of them, too :) but this weekend we have been to such a breathtaking place and enjoyed so many wonderful moments, that we felt we have to share this experience with you. We can't wait until the next time we see them and of course until the next time we can shoot at Durdle Door or some other magical, yet unknown location. If you are planning your next autumnal family trip, don't forget to tell us — it’s going to make a wonderful album under your Christmas tree. (Click for our latest offers to our 'Festive Offer' page) See you soon, Szandra&Gabor&Szaffi Kids in Light Photography Little Akos wanted to give some special to his Daddy on Father's Day. So he asked his Mommy, to get a gift voucher from us :) He spent a joyous evening with his father, and our lens captured all that fun. Enjoy these moments <3 If you love what we do, don't forget to follow on Facebook and on Instagram as well ;)
Do you remember, when you were a 4 years old little girl, playing with her dolls "afternoon tea party"? Tiny cups and pretty dresses, home made cookies and polite sentences to each other - nice memory for all of us :) And the best thing is that I was invited to a real baby shower like that! We spent few hours in a cozy tea house, only girls, had a nice chat, fine sweets, warm tea - and all the blessings for Ildi's baby girl <3 Thank you for having me, I can't wait to have a little walk together with the little ones! Sandra Find us on Facebook (www.facebook.com/kidsinlight/) and on Instagram (www.instagram.com/kidsinlight) as well ;)
Dear Szaffi, your 3rd month with us was such a busy month. We had plenty of new situations, spent wonderful time with friends, probably we found your husband :D and the most important: your uncle Bence was with us for 2 and a half weeks. We're so proud of you little girl, you are just gorgeous <3 Happy 3 month-day for you ;) Mum and Dad The first moment with Bence was speechless.... This is the latest photo of you (made by phone, 15 minutes ago).
You look like a wise Angel in every single moment. And now, you are sleeping on my lap. This is one of my favourite feeling in our life. Love you, Mummy It was a pleasure for us to meet this family. They took a long journey to Bournemouth for this session. It's always a lovely thing to working with people like them. We spent around 6 hours together on a beautiful Sunday. First we met in a hotel room, what mean us the perfect venue for the first photos. After the lots of fun Henry had something to eat, and finally.... :) In the afternoon we took a long walk in a wonderful park and on the beach. So we spent a wonderful day together, and we want to say a huge thank you for it.
We hope to see you soon, until that we wish you all the best :) With lots of love, Sandra and Gabor Kids in Light Photography When we got the request from Zsuzsi, we became excited.
Her mother-in-law had a special birthday, and the family gave her this session as a gift. It took time to find the best date and place for all of us, but we think that the result speaks for itself :) We would like to say a huge thank you for the day we spent together we really enjoyed it and we can't wait to see you soon! We wish you all the best, Sandra and Gabor |
