Creative people's life is tricky.
Business owner's life is..hm... pretty tricky :) Mum's life.... khm.... you know exactly :D We're all spending so much time online, and when we finally meet with REAL people, we're working then, we have to be the 'fly on the wall', so it's an outsider position again. The isolation is a real struggle, that's why is so releasing, when you meet someone who is in the same situation and you completly understand eachothers. That's how we met Danielle and her wonderful family. Danielle is a fellow wedding supplier who is working a lot with children as she is the owner of the The Wedding Crecherz and she is such an inspiration. We first met in February, and we found the common voice really soon. Since that we've figured out that we have loads and loads of similar stories in our life, and you know the feeling, when you just want to hug your mum-friend, just because she is amazing and incredibly strong to keep everything together...! You know, when after a long day mamas send gifs and 'awards' to eachothers via messanger - just because we are still alive :D But this year Danielle is a REAL finalist at Venus Awards in 'Business Mother of the Year' cathegory. I'd really like to give her that REAL award, but I couldn't do more than voted for her. But if you love her story, please vote for her right here: https://valasystem.com/public-voting/events/16/view/Dorset%20Venus%20Awards%202018 Would you like to feel how we feel for them? Just go through on these photos :) Hugs, Szandra

2016 summary
We can't wait to see what 2017 has in store for Kids In Light Photography We wish you all the best for 2017! With Love, Szandra, Gabor and Szaffi Slideshow of the best moments As the end of this year is getting closer we are summing up all of it.
With the birth of our little baby, Szaffi, and her amazing development we are getting near to the end of our most exciting and also most tiring year ever. It wasn't the only aspect of our life though, there were numerous challenges and unforgettable moments at work as well. We have still a couple of sessions to show you, the following one has a special place in our heart. We know Ola by sight for long, but I wasn't sure about this on that lazy afternoon, when we set out for a walk with Szaffi. Our little lady was fast asleep so we had time to talk about the important matters in life, when a Mama with her two children came across. They were a real phenomena and I left my eye on them involuntarily. Their style, their aura... It took only a second and I had this feeling under my skin that wow, I really wish we could photograph them. A second slips away quickly, we have passed by but I was still staring at them, and that Mama smiled back at me. I felt ashamed as it's not very polite to stare at someone but Gabor left me no time to think about it as he was poking me, saying: hey Szandra, we know them! Oh, if only it was true...! But where do we know them from? Gabor was already running after them and it turned out that on an easy Sunday morning carboot sale we bought some clothes for Szaffi from this family. Well, that's how much I can rely on my memory when it comes to faces. So Gabor took the lead and we were laughing together at the corner of the street. A couple of weeks had to pass before we had the chance to have a session with them but it was worth the wait. We had only a short hour to take the pictures and every minute of it was inspiring for us. Ola's aura, the honesty of the kids, their raw energy and untameable curiosity swept us off our feet. Ola was apologising for the children running around everywhere and we could not be happier to get so many spontaneous moments. We are really grateful for letting us do this session and we truly hope that next year will bring us some more wonderful afternoons together. With love, Szandra As photographers, we can be present in lots of situations carefully planned, beautifully set up. Details of these can fascinate and inspire us and they give an opportunity to capture wonderful, stylish pictures. However, there is a field of life that is all about raw energy, instincts and naked feelings. This is the miracle of giving life and being born. As a doula I know the course of birth from very close, all the physical and emotional changes that come with it. And as a photographer, I believe there is no other event in life that is more honest, more unrepeatable than the arrival of a new baby. Our Welcome Baby package is made exactly for capturing these precious moments. Oscar was only 1,5-days-"old" when we visited them in their own home. Ditke, Jim, Zacky: Congratulations for little Oscar, and it was a great pleasure for us to see you in this sensitive and wonderful period in your family-life! We wish you all the best and hope to see you soon, Szandra, Gabor and Szaffi AuthorKids in Light Photography, 2016 The good thing in being a photographer couple is that when we spend the weekend with our friends, we can take photos to relax, and when we work we take photos for an other reason :)
We know Ivett and Kornel from the time when they were expecting their daughter. When we first met in person, it was their maternity photoshoot with us. Then, we were there when Lili was born. We have spent many afternoons and weekends together since then. Sometimes we take pictures of them, too :) but this weekend we have been to such a breathtaking place and enjoyed so many wonderful moments, that we felt we have to share this experience with you. We can't wait until the next time we see them and of course until the next time we can shoot at Durdle Door or some other magical, yet unknown location. If you are planning your next autumnal family trip, don't forget to tell us — it’s going to make a wonderful album under your Christmas tree.
