As the end of this year is getting closer we are summing up all of it.
With the birth of our little baby, Szaffi, and her amazing development we are getting near to the end of our most exciting and also most tiring year ever. It wasn't the only aspect of our life though, there were numerous challenges and unforgettable moments at work as well. We have still a couple of sessions to show you, the following one has a special place in our heart. We know Ola by sight for long, but I wasn't sure about this on that lazy afternoon, when we set out for a walk with Szaffi. Our little lady was fast asleep so we had time to talk about the important matters in life, when a Mama with her two children came across. They were a real phenomena and I left my eye on them involuntarily. Their style, their aura... It took only a second and I had this feeling under my skin that wow, I really wish we could photograph them. A second slips away quickly, we have passed by but I was still staring at them, and that Mama smiled back at me. I felt ashamed as it's not very polite to stare at someone but Gabor left me no time to think about it as he was poking me, saying: hey Szandra, we know them! Oh, if only it was true...! But where do we know them from? Gabor was already running after them and it turned out that on an easy Sunday morning carboot sale we bought some clothes for Szaffi from this family. Well, that's how much I can rely on my memory when it comes to faces. So Gabor took the lead and we were laughing together at the corner of the street. A couple of weeks had to pass before we had the chance to have a session with them but it was worth the wait. We had only a short hour to take the pictures and every minute of it was inspiring for us. Ola's aura, the honesty of the kids, their raw energy and untameable curiosity swept us off our feet. Ola was apologising for the children running around everywhere and we could not be happier to get so many spontaneous moments. We are really grateful for letting us do this session and we truly hope that next year will bring us some more wonderful afternoons together. With love, Szandra

To shoot an engagement session is a true present. This is the point in time when the couple is getting closer to their wedding day, and it feels good to let go of all the worries and just focus on themselves and each other. Sisi and Tibi are very good friends of ours and we have received our invitation to their wedding on the day of this session. This is going to be the first wedding in our life where we will arrive as guests, not as professionals — we can't wait! However, we really wanted to do their engagement shoot — we know their different faces, their love, we knew our collaboration will turn out to be something really cool. Being in front of the camera is not new to them, but this time we were interested in their true feelings. This approach was square one for this photo shoot on a wonderful autumn afternoon. When we started to do the post production work we even forgot to breath. We love that passion, that love, that delicate expression on their faces. They look so stunning! Sisi and Tibi, thank you for letting us do this shoot, and we are excitedly looking forward to your wedding day. Whenever we are in a shop selling babyclothes we always look for Szaffi's outfit that would suit the occasion - it’s not an easy choice :) Sending hugs to you, Szandra, Gabor and Szaffi AuthorKids in Light Photography The good thing in being a photographer couple is that when we spend the weekend with our friends, we can take photos to relax, and when we work we take photos for an other reason :)
We know Ivett and Kornel from the time when they were expecting their daughter. When we first met in person, it was their maternity photoshoot with us. Then, we were there when Lili was born. We have spent many afternoons and weekends together since then. Sometimes we take pictures of them, too :) but this weekend we have been to such a breathtaking place and enjoyed so many wonderful moments, that we felt we have to share this experience with you. We can't wait until the next time we see them and of course until the next time we can shoot at Durdle Door or some other magical, yet unknown location. If you are planning your next autumnal family trip, don't forget to tell us — it’s going to make a wonderful album under your Christmas tree. So he asked his Mommy, to get a gift voucher from us :) He spent a joyous evening with his father, and our lens captured all that fun. Enjoy these moments <3 If you love what we do, don't forget to follow on Facebook and on Instagram as well ;)
It was a pleasure for us to meet this family. They took a long journey to Bournemouth for this session. It's always a lovely thing to working with people like them. We spent around 6 hours together on a beautiful Sunday. First we met in a hotel room, what mean us the perfect venue for the first photos. After the lots of fun Henry had something to eat, and finally.... :) In the afternoon we took a long walk in a wonderful park and on the beach. So we spent a wonderful day together, and we want to say a huge thank you for it.
We hope to see you soon, until that we wish you all the best :) With lots of love, Sandra and Gabor Kids in Light Photography We tried to visit an event on yesterday, but the life had another plan with us.
We had two different addresses, but finally we couldn't find the club. It was annoying, but when we could release our expectations, we recognized the miracle around us. Enjoy the lights and colours of autumn! Sandra and Gabor We love to take photos of the kids on the most common places. E.g. beach or playground, where they feel familiar, confident, happy and open-hearted. Instead of us let's speak the pictures :) See you soon on your favourite place ;) Sandra & Gabor You can find us on fb as Kids in Light or contact us here.
