Creative people's life is tricky.
Business owner's life is..hm... pretty tricky :)
Mum's life.... khm.... you know exactly :D
We're all spending so much time online, and when we finally meet with REAL people, we're working then, we have to be the 'fly on the wall', so it's an outsider position again.
The isolation is a real struggle, that's why is so releasing, when you meet someone who is in the same situation and you completly understand eachothers.
That's how we met Danielle and her wonderful family.
Danielle is a fellow wedding supplier who is working a lot with children as she is the owner of the The Wedding Crecherz and she is such an inspiration.
We first met in February, and we found the common voice really soon.
Since that we've figured out that we have loads and loads of similar stories in our life, and you know the feeling, when you just want to hug your mum-friend, just because she is amazing and incredibly strong to keep everything together...!
You know, when after a long day mamas send gifs and 'awards' to eachothers via messanger - just because we are still alive :D
But this year Danielle is a REAL finalist at Venus Awards in 'Business Mother of the Year' cathegory.
I'd really like to give her that REAL award, but I couldn't do more than voted for her.
But if you love her story, please vote for her right here:
Would you like to feel how we feel for them?
Just go through on these photos :)
Have I told you the story how we met Ola, Jonah and Nastka? No?
Just listen :)
A few years ago we took a nice walk and a Mama was coming with her kids.
I stopped there, forgot to breath and just stared them.
I was impressed and fell in love immediately!
Then Gabor told me:
- We kow them!
I was like:
It was true:
we've met before on a carbootsale, but I'm afraid Szaffi was too small,
so I had massive baby brain :D
All in all, we had the chance to take a gorgeous lifestyle session with them (2 years ago!), and every time we meet since then,
I get the best hug from Ola :)
It was definately the time to our next session,
so we went to the beach, and had some really good fun there.
No posing, no awkward directions,
only real moments
what make real memories.
This is the storytelling of love.
P.S.: Thank you for the amazing vegan chocolate cake for the Sukha Lounge!
As the end of this year is getting closer we are summing up all of it.
With the birth of our little baby, Szaffi, and her amazing development we are getting near to the end of our most exciting and also most tiring year ever.
It wasn't the only aspect of our life though, there were numerous challenges and unforgettable moments at work as well.
We have still a couple of sessions to show you, the following one has a special place in our heart.
We know Ola by sight for long, but I wasn't sure about this on that lazy afternoon, when we set out for a walk with Szaffi.
Our little lady was fast asleep so we had time to talk about the important matters in life, when a Mama with her two children came across.
They were a real phenomena and I left my eye on them involuntarily. Their style, their aura... It took only a second and I had this feeling under my skin that wow, I really wish we could photograph them.
A second slips away quickly, we have passed by but I was still staring at them, and that Mama smiled back at me. I felt ashamed as it's not very polite to stare at someone but Gabor left me no time to think about it as he was poking me, saying: hey Szandra, we know them! Oh, if only it was true...! But where do we know them from?
Gabor was already running after them and it turned out that on an easy Sunday morning carboot sale we bought some clothes for Szaffi from this family. Well, that's how much I can rely on my memory when it comes to faces. So Gabor took the lead and we were laughing together at the corner of the street.
A couple of weeks had to pass before we had the chance to have a session with them but it was worth the wait.
We had only a short hour to take the pictures and every minute of it was inspiring for us.
Ola's aura, the honesty of the kids, their raw energy and untameable curiosity swept us off our feet.
Ola was apologising for the children running around everywhere and we could not be happier to get so many spontaneous moments.
We are really grateful for letting us do this session and we truly hope that next year will bring us some more wonderful afternoons together.
Storytelling is such an overly popular word these days in photography.
Although we try to avoid clichés and try to think out of the box, we really do feel that the definition of this word describes our work in so many ways.
For us, the story starts when the first e-mail arrives from a couple or a family, saying they chose us to capture an important chapter of their life. Even after years we feel those butterflies in our stomachs and we are excited to get to know them better, to clear the details, to choose the location. And then finally, we meet them.
At that point something happens.
Something, that is hard to put into words - as if all of it was happening in a parallel universe.
It may be trust, it may be honesty that creates a connection, but no matter where life takes us, it surely brings us back together at some point.
This was the case with Viki and her family. We have met them for the first time when their baby, Sammy was still in his mummy's bump.
They have come to Bournemouth with their daughter, Sophie so that, as a highlight of a beautiful weekend, they can have family portraits taken.
We took a walk, talked and laughed a lot — that part wasn't hard at all as the whole family is cheerful, full of laughter and good vibes.:)
Then days and weeks passed, we were all busy with our own family lives, but we heard from each other time to time.
The next time we saw them baby Sammy was 6 weeks old.
We spent a relaxed, care-free morning at their place, in their own home. This time there was no need to get to know each other, nor to warm up to one an other, our presence was natural for them and it feels really good to work in an atmosphere like that.
Relaxed, heartfelt portraits can be taken this way, we can capture genuine moments without poses or sophisticated expressions.
This is what we hope for every time when doing a family photo session.
Because these pictures will be the ones in your family album that can recall smells, giggles, that will bring back a familiar grin, stir up real emotions in their perfectly imperfect way.
For us, this is the real genre of storytelling.
We are looking forward to your story. :)
Little Akos wanted to give some special to his Daddy on Father's Day. So he asked his Mommy, to get a gift voucher from us :)
He spent a joyous evening with his father, and our lens captured all that fun.
Enjoy these moments <3
If you love what we do, don't forget to follow on Facebook and on Instagram as well ;)
Do you remember, when you were a 4 years old little girl, playing with her dolls "afternoon tea party"?
Tiny cups and pretty dresses, home made cookies and polite sentences to each other - nice memory for all of us :)
And the best thing is that I was invited to a real baby shower like that!
We spent few hours in a cozy tea house, only girls, had a nice chat, fine sweets, warm tea - and all the blessings for Ildi's baby girl <3
Thank you for having me, I can't wait to have a little walk together with the little ones!
2015 was just fantastic for us, it was full of magical moments, and some of them could be captured by us.
Let us to speak our fav photos instead of us.
We wish you all the best for 2016 <3
Sandra & Gabor
It was a pleasure for us to meet this family.
They took a long journey to Bournemouth for this session.
It's always a lovely thing to working with people like them.
We spent around 6 hours together on a beautiful Sunday. First we met in a hotel room, what mean us the perfect venue for the first photos.
After the lots of fun Henry had something to eat, and finally.... :)
In the afternoon we took a long walk in a wonderful park and on the beach.
So we spent a wonderful day together, and we want to say a huge thank you for it.
We hope to see you soon, until that we wish you all the best :)
With lots of love,
Sandra and Gabor

When we got the request from Zsuzsi, we became excited.
Her mother-in-law had a special birthday, and the family gave her this session as a gift.
It took time to find the best date and place for all of us, but we think that the result speaks for itself :)
We would like to say a huge thank you for the day we spent together we really enjoyed it and we can't wait to see you soon!
We wish you all the best,
Sandra and Gabor
We love to take photos of the kids on the most common places.
E.g. beach or playground, where they feel familiar, confident, happy and open-hearted.
Instead of us let's speak the pictures :)
See you soon on your favourite place ;)
