The good thing in being a photographer couple is that when we spend the weekend with our friends, we can take photos to relax, and when we work we take photos for an other reason :)
We know Ivett and Kornel from the time when they were expecting their daughter. When we first met in person, it was their maternity photoshoot with us. Then, we were there when Lili was born. We have spent many afternoons and weekends together since then. Sometimes we take pictures of them, too :) but this weekend we have been to such a breathtaking place and enjoyed so many wonderful moments, that we felt we have to share this experience with you. We can't wait until the next time we see them and of course until the next time we can shoot at Durdle Door or some other magical, yet unknown location. If you are planning your next autumnal family trip, don't forget to tell us — it’s going to make a wonderful album under your Christmas tree. Babywearing is one of the most important, most useful and best things, that happened to us aside from baby giggles since Szaffi was born. As parents who run their own business, go on trips a lot, and live very-very far from their families without any help, babywearing is the only tool that serves the needs of all the three of us at the same time. Benefits of Babywearing
Having Szaffi, we had the same thought in so many situations: "What would we do without babywearing?!" In the middle of a job, while working and when making a living :) On the occasions when we spend some time with our friends who also have little children -- This way we have a little chance to talk for more than 5 minutes :) Sometimes when we just need a little while to hold each other's hands, have a chat or just be a couple for a bit... When we go on a long walk or hike and we would not stand a chance with a pushchair... When you are tiny, and things are hard for you, and you are theething, and you're sleepy but cannot sleep, in other words: when you suffer from the torments of being a baby... and when it's simply way too cool to babywear. :) I wonder whether babywearing is dangerous? It definetely is risky for your hairstyle. :) USEFUL LINKS The Physical Benefits of Babywearing Kangaroo Care: The Research Behind the Benefits of Babywearing Kangaroo Care II: Incorporating Skin-to-Skin Contact into Your Babywearing Routine Babywearing Educator Spotlight: Amber Kozak Babywearing Educator Spotlight: Kat Picson Berling Newborn Babywearing: Safe, Snug, and Squishy To locate a Center for Babywearing Studies' Babywearing Consultant in your area, please visit: http://www.centerforbabywearingstudies.com/california/#find-an-babywearing-educator To locate a Babywearing International Chapter group of Volunteer Babywearing Educators in your area, please visit: http://babywearinginternational.org/about-bwi/chapters/ And last, but not least, I want to recommend you a team you can turn to, if having troubles deciding what kind of carrier you want to buy. That is the team of "It's a Sling Thing". You can hire and then even buy carriers from them. We are having a collaboration for months now and we can highly recommend their services!
